BroadStreet API Terms & Conditions

EFFECTIVE DATE: JUNE 11, 2018.

As a user of BroadStreet’s Application Programming Interfaces (the “BroadStreet APIs“):

  • You acknowledge and agree that your use of the APIs may be subject to volume and other restriction imposed by us from time to time.
  • That we may monitor your use of the APIs to ensure quality, improve our services, and verify your compliance with these Terms of Use.
  • You must maintain compatibility with the current version of the API.
  • You acknowledge and agree that applications not compatible with the current version of the API may not be able to communicate with the Services.
  • You understand that we may cease support of old versions of the APIs.
  • You are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses, permissions, and rights to use and interface with the API and you represent and warrant to the Company that you have so secured the necessary licenses, permissions, and rights.
  • BroadStreet reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, your access to the API or any API or any part thereof with or without notice.
  • Your End Users

    You will require your end users to comply with applicable law, regulation, and Terms of Use and collect, maintain documentation of such requirements and make copies of such documentation available to Broadstreet on our request. You will have a Privacy Policy available, and compliant with all requirements of our Privacy Policy, for users to access that governs how their data is used. You will link to and require your end users to accept and comply with BroadStreet’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and make copies of end users’ Privacy Policies and Terms of Use available to Broadstreet on our request.

    Reverse Engineering and Other Limitations

    You will not:

    • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the API or documentation, in whole or in part.
    • Rent, lease, lend, sell, license, sublicense, assign, distribute, publish, transfer, or otherwise make available the API or documentation.
    • Create or disclose analytics relating to the API.
    • Use any user uploaded content without their express permission.
    • Reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, decode, adapt, or otherwise attempt to derive or gain access to any software component of the API, in whole or in part.
    • Remove any proprietary notices from the API or documentation.
    • Use the APIs for any application that constitutes, promotes or is used primarily for the purpose of distributing malicious programs or code.
    • Use the API or documentation in any manner or for any purpose that infringes, misappropriates, or otherwise violates any intellectual property right or other right of any person, or that violates any applicable law.
